In northwestern Austin, you’ll find the oft-traveled Mount Bonnell, the highest point within Austin city limits. Visitors to the Mount will be treated to breathtaking views of Austin, the Colorado river, and the sprawling Texas Hill Country. It’s no surprise that Tricia and John decided to elope here!
Keeping It Intimate
When this couple decided to get married, the intimacy and beauty of an outdoor elopement seemed like the perfect choice. They agreed that they wanted the ceremony to focus on them and their shared love and commitment. So when Tricia and John visited Mount Bonnell a few months before their ceremony, they immediately fell in love with the stunning vistas and abundant natural beauty.
“I’m a lingerie designer, so of course I went with an all lace dress! Overall, I wanted a look that was understated and elegant with a touch of vintage inspiration.”
Tricia
Every Moment A Joy
The couple was really excited about the ceremony officiant, Rev. Linda McWhorter. Hearing her recount and share their unconventional love story was very special for both of them. They also had a great time taking pictures with Nikk, and appreciated his unique approach to capturing their love and personalities. The only concern that Tricia and John had was the forecast; with rain threatening to ruin the day, it actually created a moody and romantic atmosphere for their photos. Their advice to planning couples: don’t stress about the little things! Try to enjoy yourself and embrace whatever is thrown your way. All that matters in the end is that you’ll be there together.
