Plus, there’s nothing better than celebrating your big day by dancing under the stars with your favorite friends and family...which you can do at House on the Hill. Plus, this venue has accommodations for up to 20 guests, which is perfect for micro weddings!

#2 - Justine’s Secret House
Justine’s Secret House is an actual hidden gem in the heart of Austin. From outside of the venue, all you can see is its gate and shrubbery. Once you walk in, you’re greeted with a lush, French-meets-American-inspired courtyard (think New Orleans). Beyond the courtyard is a stunning Victorian-style home with the cutest porch. This cozy venue is meant for micro weddings, as it is smaller in size. The actual Victorian home on the property further adds to the comfortable feel of the venue. #3 - Greenhouse at Driftwood
The Greenhouse at Driftwood is one of the most unique micro wedding venues in Austin, Texas. It is an expansive property with tons of greenery and gardens on the property. The property is super private; only hotel guests are allowed on the grounds. Plus, the hotel only has five suites. If you’re planning a micro wedding, we recommend booking all of the suites and reserving the entire property for your special day. Lush grounds, pristine pool area, chic patios, and homey porches make Hotel Saint Cecilia the dreamiest venue. There are tons of great options for ceremony and reception spots, not to mention gorgeous backdrops for your wedding portraits!
#5 - Chapel Dulcinea
One of the biggest draws to having your micro wedding at Chapel Dulcinea is that it is FREE to rent! The owners just ask that you include a $200 donation/deposit if you’re able to. This Spanish-style chapel utilizes gas lamps, so lighting for your wedding or elopement will be soft and romantic. Chapel Dulcinea is on the smaller side, meaning it’s just the right size for a micro wedding! Get lost in the Old World romance of this venue, without having to break your bank account. Can it get any better?!

#6 - The Line Hotel
The Line Hotel is one of the most classic micro wedding venues in the Austin area. This hotel’s aesthetic and design is inspired by a retro, mid-century modern style. If you have your micro wedding here, you get to choose from an awesome selection of ceremony and reception areas. A glamorous poolside, glass-walled reception rooms, and a rooftop restaurant overlooking downtown Austin are a few of our favorite spots at The Line. You can’t go wrong with having your wedding at any of these locations! Any wedding at The Line Hotel is sure to be classy, fabulous, and so fun. #7 - Malverde
Malverde is the micro wedding venue that has it all: a hip venue space, sweet city views, and amazing Mexican food. What more could you want? This modern venue pairs natural tones with pops of bright color and tons of greenery, so your wedding photos will automatically have the coolest backgrounds! Plus, the airy balcony area overlooks the streets of downtown Austin. While you enjoy this beautiful venue, you get to enjoy catered food and signature cocktails from La Condesa, which is located right below Malverde. Our favorite spot at the Jones Center is the rooftop deck area. You’ll get the most iconic skyline view of downtown Austin. You don’t want to miss sipping champagne and watching the sunset from this spot; it’s iconic! Plus, what makes micro weddings so special is their small size and intimate nature. Imagine how special it would be to have this gorgeous deck space to share with your loved ones and new spouse! You won’t ever forget these special moments from your wedding at Jones Center.
#9 - Mattie’s at Green Pastures
Mattie’s at Green Pastures is a historic farmhouse space that has been renovated with modern amenities without losing any of its original vintage charm. The venue has several different location options, depending on the size of your wedding. For micro weddings (32 guests or less), we recommend either the Lounge Room or the Table Royale. These private event spaces on the property are perfectly decorated in a mid-century modern style, making them incredibly cozy and chic. Mattie’s provides their own catering for weddings held onsite, and their menus are out-of-this-world good! For an intimate elopement or micro wedding, you won’t regret choosing Mattie’s at Green Pastures!

#10 - Sekrit Theater
Sekrit Theater is a rustic, bohemian wedding venue in Austin, Texas. The defining feature of the venue is a glass and brick conservatory on the property that is surrounded by lush trees and foliage. Cue all the whimsical, magical garden vibes! The secluded, abandoned feel of this venue makes it an incredibly intimate setting for an elopement or micro wedding. This venue is also home to some more eclectic features, such as a vintage, clawfoot bathtub, and a school bus that has been converted into a hangout area with couches inside.
