Wedding at The Riley Building

Tracy and Mike had the MOST fun wedding at the Riley Building in Austin, Texas. The intimate size of the group made it truly feel like a family affair. For the ceremony, guests gathered in the Riley Building’s main hall, where natural light streamed in from the banks of windows.

Their florist, the wonderful Holly Besing, designed a stunning backdrop for their vows: a tall curtain decked with mini bouquets. Not only was this a beautiful touch, but it also meant that Tracy and Mike weren’t backlit by the windows, and everyone could see them as they laughed and wept their way through their ceremony.

Family Was at the Heart of this Celebration

The feeling of family was the most defining feature of this Riley Building wedding, and everyone felt it. Mike and Tracy each have three kids of their own, and everyone got involved in the celebrations. Not only did their children stand up at the altar with them - a tear jerking moment for sure - but, instead of flower girls, Tracy had a couple of her young family members precede her down the aisle with bubble guns!

One of the sweetest moments of the evening was when Tracy and Mike celebrated their son, Ryan. They surprised him by bringing out a birthday cake in the middle of the reception, and all of the guests sang happy birthday! The fun atmosphere rolled on with an incredible live band, and the guests made full use of the different masks and costumes available to hit the dance floor in.
