I love the golden light and fading colors at the end of the day. It’s my favorite time to grab my camera and capture the moody, romantic filter the sunset provides! Well... it turns out, a sunrise engagement shoot has that same type of magic! 😉 Speaking of magic, it was only appropriate to have my very first sunrise engagement shoot with a couple that is as incredible as Lauren and Kyle!
I ran on 3 hours of sleep because I shot a wedding the night before. Luckily, Lauren and Kyle had enough energy for all of us! I'm so glad I agreed to do this shoot I had a blast, it was great to see how much fun they have together. They just couldn’t stop laughing! All those smiles you see in their photos? Trust me, I didn’t have to do much to make those appear, these two are so happy together!

We wandered through Austin, and I decided to change it up a little. We shot in a location where I usually don’t go to for photoshoots because it doesn’t work for sunset. However, this sunrise made this a great spot for their engagement photos. Who would have known that a sunrise engagement shoot would open up new possibilities for my photography!
Lauren walked around in her colorful yellow dress and Kyle had eyes for only her. We grabbed some good iced coffee at Merit Coffee in the Seaholm District, and marveled at how quiet the city is early in the morning!
Lauren and Kyle make such an authentic and fun couple, I can't wait for their wedding in February!
