Disco Balls and Sparkles at Springdale Station

I knew Sarah and JP were super fun humans from the second they asked me to do their dog engagement shoot. When I got the chance to shoot their wedding, it did not disappoint! The inspiration for this Springdale Station wedding came from Sarah's love for simplicity with a little bit of sparkle. Sarah and JP loved the idea of having a large hanging arrangement of dried palm leaves and florals above the head table with disco balls incorporated, so they worked with the amazing florist Carrington to bring that vision to life.

They carried the disco balls throughout the rest of the décor - even the cake! - and it really created the vibe of the whole Springdale Station wedding. Sarah's dress, covered in dozens of sparkling little jewels, was the perfect balance between beautiful and just so fun - seeing her bridesmaids’ faces when she came out of the Springdale Station bridal suite was the best.

Tender Moments and Sweaty Dancefloors

Looking back on her wedding day, Sarah recalls: ‘One of our favorite moments was during the ceremony - our Officiant Jerry asked us to look out at our guests and bridal party who were there to witness this huge moment in our lives. There are so many emotions and nerves running through you leading up to the ceremony, that having the quick moment to pause and take everything in was really special.

‘The mother-son dance was another moment that was so special, having a time where JP could honor his Mom and all she has done for him was a memory that will stay with us for a lifetime. Finally, I think everyone's favorite had to be the dance party that followed dinner. Our DJ Braylon really brought the party and I don't think anyone stopped dancing the entire night.’
