Some say that all weddings look similar, but I beg to differ. The unique style and personality of the couple always shines throughout every element of their big day. From the venue to the decor, from the activities to the food - everything tells the story of the bride & groom! Whereas some couples love to celebrate the start of their marriage in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city, Alexandra and Ian chose the opposite. They picked a location that suits them best, and created a very fun and relaxed day at The Waters Point Resort.

The beginning of the day was mainly spent the two cabins that Alexandra & Ian stayed in respectively. They both got ready for the ceremony surrounded by wood and nature. My favorite part about this was that they both had walk talkies, so they could still communicate with each other even though they each were in their own separate cabin. Genius!

The ceremony took place outside, with a gorgeous wooden chapel behind them and the sun shining through the leaves all around them. It was very intimate with only their closest friends and family. The whole bridal party was so quirky and uplifting, I loved hanging out with them!

Throughout the whole day, there were reminders of Alexandra and Ian's story and reflections of their love; they truly made this day their own. Their love for each other was so apparent. At one point, they went off in the dark and just danced together (which made me tear up... a lot). I'm so glad I was the one chosen to capture this beautiful wedding, and meet such an amazing couple!

Before you jump into the photos, here’s what this happy couple had to say about working with me:

"Nikk is phenomenal! Our wedding photos were everything we wished for and more. We wanted good candid shots not a series of poses that made us look like we aren't real people. Nikk seemed to be everywhere at once. When we viewed the photos, I kept thinking I didn't even know he was there in those moments. His professionalism and style are difficult to match and his turnaround on stunning photos is amazing.

We were so happy he agreed to be our photographer. He captured so many memories and absolutely nailed our first dance shots. He caught so many small intimate moments not just of us but also of our family and friends that make my heart swell and my husband tear up. We can't thank him enough for his time and talent!

Look no further. You've found your photographer. :)"
