Romantic, Elegant, & Timeless

This romantic wedding at The LINE Hotel was a dream. With its elegant and stylish atmosphere, I don’t think there’s anywhere in Austin, Texas more classy and romantic than The LINE Hotel. The venue blended perfectly with the elegant wedding party attire. The bridesmaids all wore different, champagne-toned dresses while the groomsmen wore tuxedos. Erin wore a simple taffeta ballgown with a soft square neckline and her late grandmother’s vintage pearl drop earrings. Aaron wore a suave, custom-made tuxedo with a velvet jacket.

The bouquets were made of tan, blush, and white flowers with greenery accents and a black velvet ribbon. The greenery, candles, and hotel’s stylish decor perfectly complemented the breathtaking floor-to-ceiling windows. Only making the ceremony that much more beautiful as it began at golden hour.

The party got started right after the "I Do's." I don't think there was ever a moment that the guests weren't on the dance floor. DJ Brian Weber really had Erin & Aaron's guests enjoying themselves. So much so, that he played for an extra 15 minutes because everyone was having so much fun. It was truly a blast to experience!

Honks and cheers rang out as Austin Pedicab drove the happy couple around Austin. The back of the pedicab proudly displayed "Just Married" and the driver played Frank Sinatra at the couple's request, though his Christmas songs that began to play were quite the surprise. Erin and Aaron sat together laughing as the Christmas music played while riding high off of the beautiful moment just shared with their family and friends.

The Bride & Groom's Favorite Moments

Erin shares that some of her favorite moments of their romantic wedding at The LINE Hotel included the first look, the private dinner, and the joyous pedicab ride at the end of the night. I walked Erin & Aaron through the pros and cons of a first look before the big day. I'm so glad they chose to do the first look as it gave them so much more time to celebrate during the event while we were able to capture photos of their first intimate moment of the night.

The private dinner was something they didn't know they needed. Erin shared, "Our amazing wedding planner Cassie really pushed this idea and now we know why. After the ceremony, Aaron and I went back to the bridal suite where a beautiful, two-person meal, complete with champagne, was waiting for us. We got to enjoy yet another moment together, just the two of us, which made it very special. Not to mention, we had time to eat a full dinner!"

Before you jump into the photos, here’s what this happy couple had to say about working with me:

"Nikk was one of the VERY first decisions we made for our wedding and for good reason! This is because we were looking at photos of our venue and fell in love with them. Turns out all of our favorites were Nikk’s photos and right then and there, we knew we wanted him as our photographer. He was a true professional throughout the entire process and his direction made everyone feel at ease, making it very easy to have a good time and focus on the festivities. It’s hard to describe what makes his photos unique but all I can say is, when looking at the photos from our wedding day, they evoke and reflect the emotions we felt at the exact moment the photo was taken. His photos are all about the people and the moment, which was so important for us! All we can say is, Nikk is the absolute BEST!!!"
