Tricia and John chose to go for a Mt Bonnell elopement so that they could have an intimate ceremony that was all about them and their story - without any distractions or dilutions.

They had visited Mt. Bonnell a few months prior to their ceremony and fell in love with the view, so when they suggested that we hold the elopement there, I was only too happy to come along.

Moody Skies at this Mt Bonnell Elopement

In the week leading up to this Mt Bonnell elopement, the weather forecast threatened to rain. Tricia and John were a bit nervous about it, but in the end, armed with elegant clear umbrellas, we stuck to the plan. We were all so glad that we did! The moody cloud cover and the shelter of the umbrellas made for such romantic pictures, while the mist settling over the valley below only added to the atmosphere. And the weather had the added bonus of giving us the clifftop all to ourselves.

Tricia said ‘I’m a lingerie designer, so of course I went with an all lace dress! Overall, I wanted a look that was understated and elegant with a touch of vintage inspiration.’ She paired her dress with some vintage-style pumps and a beautiful jeweled headband, for a look that was somehow classic and creative at the same time. It struck the perfect note for this playful and intimate Mt Bonnell elopement!
