This modern chic wedding at Prospect House just outside of Austin, Texas was an absolute dream for me to shoot. It was full of so many beautiful and unforgettable moments and I can't wait to tell you about some of the highlights!
The Bride & Groom
First off, just working with Courtney and Colt would have been enough for me. These two are amazing and adventurous people. Both of them had actually moved to Austria for four years in order for Colt to play soccer there. You'll notice some photographs with Colt in his authentic lederhosen which was a "retirement" gift from his Austrian soccer teammates.
The Perfect Guest List
The guest list was impressive too. It was so cool to see that friends from all over the globe had flown in to support these two on their special day! But friends weren't the only ones in attendance. This was also a very family oriented modern wedding with a huge emphasis on having a good time and it was probably one of the most chill weddings I've been apart of!
So Many Special Moments
One thing I especially loved was the many heartfelt and amazing moments Courtney had throughout the day. One of the most emotional and beautiful occasions was the first look with her father; to witness that moment and many others was incredible!

Before you jump into the photos, here’s what this happy couple had to say about working with me:
"I do not think you all understand ... this chap is more than a "photographer", he is a true artist behind the lens. My wife, Courtney and I, could not have asked for a better person to capture such emotional images that portray the most special moment on our timeline to date. Nikk, you are a diamond in the rough my friend. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Stay as you are and may your journey stay fruitful."
"I am over the moon with emotion, on how truly magical every photo from our wedding turned out. Nikk was such a calming force that day, and everywhere I turned, there he was to make sure nothing important was missed. I gravitated towards Nikk's work due to his style and vibe and was purely overjoyed when what I saw through a portfolio translated to real life. I did not want traditional, and I did not want staged. Our story is different and I knew it would take someone special to be able to capture that. Nikk, you’re amazing. I am truly so grateful for you, and the insanely incredible job you did. To put it simply, I am happy. My day was captured better than I could have imagined, yet it was everything I ever wanted, especially aesthetics wise. I am so thankful you understood my vision and captured said vision through our photos."
