On twenty acres of expansive green hills sits the historic and stately Grand Lady, a Victorian-style home turned Colonial-style wedding venue. The pristine white columns and walls create a timeless look, and were exactly what Kate and Michael were hoping for.
Vintage Feels, Modern Love
Michael and Kate share a love of all things vintage, which was a feeling they wanted to share on their wedding day. With the wedding happening in the fall, they decided on rich colors, vintage feels, and dark vibes to draw their guests into a world that they created together to celebrate the life that they were about to commit to. The last wedding dress that Kate tried on ended up being the perfect one and the one that made her feel most like a bride. Together, they shared their world and their love with their family and friends.
Together is Better
Every individual has their special wedding moments that will always stand out to them. For Kate, it was the lead-up to the first look; knowing that they were both getting prepared just rooms apart, unsure exactly how the other was feeling, all bubbled up into excitement and appreciation when they finally saw each other. Michael, on the other hand, was the most excited about sharing this love and joy with their friends and family. They’ve experienced much together, and now they have the opportunity to let the people they care most about into that world.
“...it feels [amazing] to have all of your loved ones in one place, from every aspect of your life, there to celebrate you.”
Michael
Collaboration Leads to Love
The couple knew they wanted a dark and vampy fall wedding, but how to make it happen? Their advice for making that perfect day exactly how they want it: find the perfect vendors! The vendors make the magic happen, so find people who understand your vision and have the skills to make it reality. Two people working with passionate vendors can share their world with those around them and create a day full of love, commitment, and joy.
