Shooting Meghan and Eric's wedding at Brodie Homestead was such a great experience for me. The Austin, Texas venue they chose was absolutely adorable! As a renovated barn turned wedding venue it had the perfect combination of rustic and elegance. But the venue wasn't the best part by a long shot.
Getting the opportunity to work with Meghan and Eric and be a part of capturing their special day was by far my highlight! It's wonderful people like these two that make it easy to forget you're actually working. After witnessing their fun and playful interactions with each other you can't help but feel relaxed and at ease. It was evident how perfect these two were for each other by how they were able to fully be themselves and how being themselves only encouraged the other to do the same.
This truly was an unforgettable experience for me and even though it was super hot, the temperature didn't slow anyone down for a minute! If you take a look through my blog you'll see that Meghan and Eric's special day was a breath-taking day filled with a lot of tears and laughter.
Talented Wedding Vendors
Before you jump into the photos, here’s what this happy couple had to say about working with me:
"I wish I had the words to describe our incredible experience with Nikk. It has been 4 days since our wedding and I have already received a slideshow of numerous amazing pictures. He made our wedding day pictures comfortable and fun. He captured special moments such as everyone getting ready and our private vows before the ceremony. During our consultation informed us that he would be a fly on the wall, and he was just that. He gave us privacy after reading our vows and asked permission when taking pictures before the ceremony. Nikk even took pictures after our time had ended, and for that I will forever be thankful. His down-to-earth and personable personality is only part of our wonderful experience. The pictures themselves are beautifully shot and edited. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture the best day of our lives. Clearly what I’m trying to say is CHOOSE NIKK! You will not regret it."
