Working with Maddie and Nate to shoot their wedding at the Rambling Rose Ranch in Austin was a great experience! Maddie told us about all of the amazing things she loved about this place and how perfect it felt for her special day with Nate.
Rolling Hills and Towering Trees
The couple didn’t feel the need to have a theme or over-decorate for their wedding because of the natural lush beauty already offered by the ranch. Friends and family watched as Maddie and Nate exchanged vows beneath a sprawling and verdant oak tree before dancing the night away under a blanket of stars. Another thing everyone loved? Getting to feed the incredibly friendly ranch animals! All in all, it was the perfect backdrop for their casual, fun, and carefree wedding.
Taking it to the Next Level
Maddie and Nate have been in a committed relationship for fifteen years, so tying the knot was as natural as the ranch grounds. Maddie’s favorite part was walking down the aisle with Nate, hand-in-hand, approaching their future together. It was on display for all to see how ready they were to spend the rest of their lives with each other.
Maddie also shared some advice for others planning their wedding:
“Plan the wedding YOU want–the vibe, the vendors, your ceremony. Don’t get caught up in meeting other people’s expectations for your day. When you look back, you’ll be so happy that your day was a perfect reflection and celebration of you.”
This day was just one more important step in a relationship built to last.
