You know what’s even better than an amazing engagement shoot? Two amazing engagement shoots in one day! After photographing Priscilla and Hector, I had the privilege of capturing the love of Alex and Mac. This incredible couple is clearly head over heels in love with each other, which made my job easy!
The star of the first part of the shoot was Arya, Mac’s son. He turned out to be a natural in front of the camera, he was all smiles and charm. Capturing them as a family added something extra special to this shoot. It’s not every day that you can do an engagement AND a family shoot at the same time!
One of my favorite moments is when Arya put a rose behind Alex’s ear. You can tell in the photos what a sweet moment this was! After 30 minutes, Arya went home with grandma while the three of us headed to Enchanted Rock.
We had a blast climbing all the way to the top! Normally people would do this in hiking boots and shorts, but this adventurous couple conquered it in their nice attire. Did you notice that Alex was even wearing heels? She made it look effortless with her yellow dress in the wind. They definitely stood out amongst the grey rocks, I think people could have noticed this beautiful couple from miles away! We shot for an hour as we walked higher and higher, and the views at the top made it all so worth it!
One thing I appreciated about Alex and Mac is that they were so willing to try new things and didn’t get stuck in the same pose. I wanted to capture them from different angles, especially since the surroundings were so beautiful and diverse. They really brought their whole heart to this shoot. I can't wait to capture their big day!
