Let me start with a word of warning before you scroll down: the smiles of Mary & David are highly contagious. After seeing their engagement photos, you might just find yourself a lot happier than you were before, I know I did!
You won't be able to tell from the photos, but Mary and David were very nervous at first. It didn't take them long to get comfortable with the camera and once they did, they became straight pros from that point on!
The bond Mary and David share became so clearly visible through kisses on foreheads, genuine belly-laughter and sweet moments between them, that I was able to capture it almost effortlessly. There’s not much I enjoy more than watching a shy couple come out of their shells as they begin to focus more and more on their love for each other and less on their surroundings… if that’s not the power of love, I don’t know what is!

We had a great time exploring Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. And while I didn't take my eye (or lens) off the beautiful couple to get a shot, we even saw one of the local, four-legged residents! I'm sure this wildlife was happy that we were there for the harmless kind of shooting! 😉
Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is an incredibly beautiful location. With the late sun rays falling down on this future bride and groom, the joyful anticipation for their big day and ensuing marriage became more and more tangible.
I will be back at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in February for the wedding day of Mary and David. I can't wait!
