This Addison Grove Wedding Had An Elegant Vision
Something that made this Addison Grove wedding so special was the thought and care that Josh and Paige put into different little details of the day, and these little details ranged from the elegant and luxurious to the fabulously tongue-in-cheek.
Let’s talk about the elegance first: An Addison Grove wedding is always going to look amazing, but Paige and Josh took it to another level. They echoed the grand chandeliers in the Barn space by hanging crystal chandeliers from the oak trees in the Grove. The bridesmaids wore full-length burgundy dresses, echoing the red and white roses in the magnificent florals.
This intentionality didn’t stop behind the scenes, either. All of the bridesmaids received matching silk robes to celebrate the morning with, and Josh received a watch as a gift. The box was custom engraved for the day. It was sweet, thoughtful ideas like this that really elevated this Addison Grove wedding into something special.
...And An Incredible Sense of Humor
Man, I loved shooting this wedding! There were so many little hilarious moments that just came from who Paige and Josh are as people. They and their families are so fun!
Some of my favorite ways they injected humor and personality into their celebrations: they had a whole extra cake (in grey frosting, with the words ‘this is your wedding’) dedicated to their love of The Office. Before the ceremony, Josh’s mom gave him a pocket square embroidered with the phrase ‘keep your s**t together’. And their adorable little ring-bearer walked down the aisle with a sign that said ‘it’s getting real!’ I mean, what’s not to love?!
