Intimate Hotel San Jose Austin Wedding

“The pandemic forced us to rethink our wedding plans multiple times, but in the end, we had a perfect day in Austin with our parents and siblings.” These words from Tory and Casey really sum up the heart of their beautiful Hotel San Jose Austin wedding. Their day started in a sun-dappled courtyard, tucked away from the hustle of the big city in a gorgeous boutique hotel. They both got ready with their families - the dads and brothers gathering to help Casey with his boutonnière (courtesy of Rosehip Flora) in the garden and moms and sisters helping Tory get ready upstairs.

They had their first look in the garden and it was such a tender moment! As we walked through the streets to the next part of their Hotel San Jose Austin wedding, they were giddy with happiness. One of my favorite moments was when they stopped in the middle of the street to dance with each other - it really encapsulates the joyous feeling of the day.

Their ceremony took place in a family backyard, with just the happy couple and their nearest relatives. When they recalled this part of their day, Tory and Casey said, “Setting aside the larger-scale vision we started with allowed us to focus on each other and soak up the time with our families.” It was beautiful in its intimacy and simplicity.

After the heartfelt vows, the couple popped champagne with their family and toasted to life together - before eventually moving on to enjoy an incredible tasting menu at the whimsical Swift’s Attic. The evening was full of joy and laughter, and after the scenes on the street earlier that afternoon, it came as no surprise that Casey and Tory ended up making their own dance floor.
