There’s something so special about an intimate wedding. The bride and groom only invite the select few that really know the couple and have been an important part of their journey together. Angelica & Melvin chose to start their marriage with a very intimate wedding like this. Their guests were all family and friends from church, and even the venue was the pastor and his wife’s beautiful backyard.
I absolutely loved photographing Angelica and Melvin’s wedding! Not only did I get to capture their evident love for each other, but also the interactions of their tight-knit community. The whole day was extra special because everybody was so genuinely excited for the happy couple! And rightly so, because these two clearly belong to each other!
Melvin was a ball of nerves in the beginning of the day, but everything changed when he saw Angie walking down the aisle. His gorgeous bride took his breath, and his nerves, away!
My favorite part of this wedding was the Mexican and Puerto Rican culture that was poured into the cuisine and entertainment. Those Al Pastor tacos were to die for! The mariachi band added to the festive vibe, they really brought the party with their guitars, vihuela, trumpet and violins! These latin tunes accompanied the bride and groom on the dance floor. It didn’t take long for family members to follow!
All in all, this wedding celebration was a day filled with happy tears and laughter – one I won’t forget anytime soon!
Talented Wedding Vendors
Before you jump into the photos, here’s what this happy couple had to say about working with me:
“Nikk is the man! On our wedding day he caught every special moment. Nothing was scripted or cheesy. We had an amazing time and Nikk felt like another friend at the ceremony. He even took time out to serve… making sure that we had food and drinks. The amount of sacrificial labor on his behalf was so refreshing to see. He shared laughs and smiles.
His strong work ethic is obviously seen. And the priceless photos were well worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend any other wedding photographer! He caught all the moments and wasn’t in the way at all!
If you are stuck between Nikk and another photographer, do everything in your power to get Nikk. Reach out to him. He’s so easy to talk to.”
