Forever at First Sight
For Julia and Patrick, it was love at first sight when they met one weekend visiting mutual friends in D.C. Shortly after, Patrick took a leap of faith and moved to Austin to be with Julia. The rest is history. The intimate proposal took place in San Antonio, Texas, where Patrick surprised Julia by getting down on one knee on their balcony that overlooked the riverwalk. Julia shares that she was so excited, she didn't even wait for him to put the ring on. They understand each other and make an active attempt to make one another proud every single day.
Sekrit Theater to Lustre Pearl East
For their engagement shoot, Julia & Patrick chose to glam it up for their Sekrit Theater shots and did a wardrobe change into something more casual for the shots at Lustre Pearl East and around East Austin. We chose to begin at Sekrit Theater which, if you have had the opportunity to visit, then you know how beautiful this location is. It was perfect for capturing the radiance of Julia and Patrick's connection. We even had a surprise guest attend their photoshoot - one of the cats that lives on the property decided to join in on some shots! We ended the shoot in East Austin around Lustre Pearl East. These photos were so fun, carefree, and natural. They shared a beer and then we walked around capturing their love for one another during golden hour.
