Just 25 miles from downtown Austin lies Camino Real Ranch. It is a piece of wedding venue perfection that is a total dream to shoot at. Michael and Dylan hosted an incredible wedding day here; celebrating with an exuberant group of friends and family and making some memories they won’t soon forget!

One of the things that makes the Camino Real Ranch such a good wedding venue is that it has multiple spaces and buildings on the property. This means that you can craft a flow to your day that works for you. It also means that you have plenty of options! For Dylan and Michael, celebrations started in Farmhouse, where Dylan got ready and the two shared their first look.

The ceremony itself was held down by the Camino Real Ranch pond, in a beautiful grove of trees. Dylan and Michael went for simple decorations of dried palms and pampas grass for a boho, natural feel. It was particularly moving how Dylan chose to walk down the aisle arm in arm with both her dad and her mom!

Time to Party at the Camino Real Ranch

After the ceremony, celebrations started to kick into gear in the Quonset Hut, and the evening ended up being a huge blast! These guys have family who know how to party, and friends who are going to help them do it. At one point Dylan ended up in a chair on the groomsmen’s shoulders, and everyone — from young to old — gave it their all on the dance floor.

For another gorgeous outdoor ceremony, take a look at this non-traditional Filipino wedding I got to shoot, and for a fun twist on the boho aesthetic, you have to check out this Springdale Station wedding, too!
