When Jason and Eddie sat down to plan their Briscoe Museum wedding – a full two years before the event itself, I might add – they knew that it was all about saying thank you to their friends and family. Eddie explained that ‘Jason and I have been together for 9 years and have just felt so much love and care from our "crew" ever since we met.’

I could definitely feel that love and care in the group of people who assembled in the gardens for this Briscoe Museum wedding – and it was clear how much thought had been put into giving back to their guests, too. They had beautiful musical performances as part of the ceremony, which was full of a few tears and a lot of laughter!

Mariachi and Donuts at this Briscoe Museum Wedding

After the ceremony, Jason and Eddie had a mariachi band for the cocktail hour. Their performance was a highlight for a bunch of the guests, and it really kicked off the evening in a great way. One of the things Jason and Eddie really loved about their Briscoe Museum wedding was that the venue was right on the famous San Antonio Riverwalk – so during the cocktails, I had to steal them away to get some couples’ portraits there.

The dessert table at the reception was filled by Jason’s aunt, who made all of the couple’s favorite treats. But looking back on the day, Eddie says his favorite part was after dinner, when he and Jason got to dance with all their guests. That kind of joy is always so fun to capture!
