Nikk Nguyen Photo has some Suggestions for Wedding Venues, San Antonio Residents

When non-Texans think about San Antonio, they probably think of the infamous rallying cry “remember the Alamo!” We’re a long way off from frontier times, though, and San Antonio is a thriving modern metropolis that is packed with upscale restaurants, live music venues, and lots of opportunities to experience local culture and the exuberant spirit for which Texas is known.

If you live in San Antonio and you’ve gotten engaged recently, then you may be having a difficult time selecting a venue for the upcoming event. But fear not: Nikk Nguyen Photo knows San Antonio, and we’ve got some suggestions as to our favorite potential wedding venues in the area.

Rancho La Mission

If we’re going to talk about San Antonio wedding venue options, then Rancho La Mission is the first name worth mentioning. They have an outdoor and indoor area. The indoor option is called The Barn, and if you want your wedding to have a traditional country-Western aspect to it, then you’re not likely to find a better spot in San Antonio, and maybe all the state of Texas. If you wish to celebrate your finding the perfect partner for you under the Texas sunset, then the outdoor venue will be the better option. Packages for Rancho La Mission come in Gold, Diamond, and Platinum, so be sure to look over the details for each one.

The Veranda

The Veranda is a choice that’s as picturesque as you could ever desire. In the heart of San Antonio, its nickname is the “Castle on the Hill,” and as you approach it, you’ll see that it’s an apt description. It’s actually seven different spaces in one, any of which could be suitable for your wedding depending on how many friends and family members you have invited and the feel for which you’re going. There are rolling oak-lined lawns if you want to keep things outdoors. There’s a covered pavilion, an artist cottage, or the Estate House built of local stone that traces its roots back to 1931.

The most popular option is probably the Estate House. It has a bridal suite with a lounge, a makeup counter, and a private bath, while the groom’s area features a television and a wet bar. You can seat up to 60 guests indoors, or you can expand seating outdoors into the covered Veranda if your party has up to 125 in it.
