This venue is named for its address: 800 Congress Avenue. It is a historic building that has been renovated into a cool warehouse space with a cute outdoor patio overlooking the city streets. While the open and airy warehouse design gives this venue a more modern feel, the exposed brick walls from the original building pay homage to the space’s history. This combination of old and new makes 800 Congress the perfect rustic, industrial wedding venue. 

Plus, its location right in downtown Austin gives weddings held there such an exciting, lively atmosphere. From the venue, you can see views of the Capitol building and the State and Paramount Theatres.

All the amenities for your convenience

Another thing we love about 800 Congress is that this venue offers many amenities that will make the logistical aspects of your wedding day go smoothly. For example, the space has a private, VIP room that can be used for the bride and groom or wedding party to get ready in or freshen up throughout the day.

We also love how flexible this event space is. You can bring in your own catering and beverages (including alcohol), and there is a large kitchen and refrigerator for easy food and beverage service. You can offer street parking or valet services (or both) to your guests. Plus, there’s nearly an endless amount of ways to set up your ceremony and reception at 800 Congress (and the venue provides all the tables for you anyway!) 

This venue’s normal wedding rental agreement typically includes ten hours of use of the venue, so you have plenty of time to celebrate on your special day!
