Just southwest of Downtown Austin, you’ll find the small town of Driftwood and the fabulous and beautiful Greenhouse at Driftwood event space and conservation center. Ann and Spencer knew that The Greenhouse would provide all of the natural beauty needed to make their elopement perfectly decorated, and they were more than happy to support local conservation and sustainability efforts for their big day.

Small and Intimate, Relaxed and Casual

Ann and Spencer knew they wanted their wedding to be small and intimate, so they chose the “True Elopement” package offered at The Greenhouse at Driftwood. Abundant greenery, flowing nature, and overwhelming beauty provided the perfect backdrop as they gathered with each other’s parents and four close friends, one of whom officiated. Relaxed and casual was the vibe for the day, and everyone got to spend time with the couple throughout. Ann chose a timeless and classic dress and knew immediately that it was the one when she tried it on.

Cherished Time With Those Who Matter Most

The reception was hosted by Spencer’s parents at their house, and the amount of work they put in was astonishing. Everything was DIY, and putting together floral arrangements with friends is a fond memory. Many moments stood out to the couple: taking photos with Nikk, trying all of the wonderful desserts provided by their pastry chef friend, and having dinner together and alone were a few of the most cherished. Ann and Spencer knew that the most important thing was to be themselves and focus on what mattered most to them both.
