A Day to Remember: Classic Cars and Modern Charm | Abel + Maysi

Clean lines and spacious architecture accentuate natural beauty at The Arlo, a fun, modern venue situated at the edge of the Texas Hill Country. Everything about the venue, the location, and the getaway car–a 1937 Cadillac Coupe–was essential for Abel and Maysi’s dream of a wedding day.

A Fun, Modern Wedding

Abel and Maysi had a blast at their wedding. Whether it was getting ready in the amazing on-site bridal suite and grooms cottage or zipping away in a vintage car, every moment was one to cherish and remember. As many of their guests were traveling from out of town, the couple wanted to make sure that everything was perfect for their brief visit. A fun twist the couple added included matching Air Force One shoes for the groom and twin nephews while Maysi and her niece had their own matching set.

A First Meeting

This was the first time that the families had met each other, so it was an extra special gathering! Maysi’s favorite moment was seeing Abel waiting for her as she walked down the aisle, and the couple made sure to enjoy every moment as they knew the day would fly by faster than they could expect. They also made a couple lists of must-haves for the DJ and the wedding photos to ensure that everything at their fun, modern wedding was perfect. From researching vendors to coordinating with their planner, they knew just what they wanted for their big day. Truly, this will be a time for them to remember as they begin their lives together.
